Monoclonal Antibody Site

At the start of January 2022, Pulse was contracted by the Florida department of emergency management (DEM) to staff and implement a monoclonal antibody site in Jacksonville, FL.

Pulse’s responsibility was to provide a turnkey solution by hiring 60 clinicians including, physicians, nurse practitioners, and RNs, as well as find and convert a site to successfully administer the monoclonal antibody treatments.

During the 10-day deadline, Pulse successfully staffed the project, as well as converted a previous senior center to an MAB treatment clinic. To optimize the space for 300 patients, Pulse implemented a 3-step process of intake, infusion, and observation.

We outsourced paramedics and a security team to give patients and clinicians a safe experience.

Read Case Study

In April of 2021, Pulse partnered with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Florida Department of Health (DOH) to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to the underserved, minority, and homebound residents of Florida.

Given a three-week deadline, Pulse recruited, hired, and onboarded over 100 clinicians inclusive of CNAs and nurse practitioners, as well as support personnel, project managers, project coordinators, and community outreach coordinators.

During the three-month initiative, Pulse served the Tampa, Orlando, and Miami metro areas giving over 45,000 first-dose vaccinations and achieving a second-dose rate of over 95%. By using the Pulse Clinical Call Center and the MyMobileVax.com website, Pulse successfully offered a user-friendly and free vaccination service for homebound patients.

Due to the program’s success, Pulse received an extension for sole responsibility of the program from FEMA and FDEM.

Team Hope

Read Case Study

Pulse was contracted in June of 2021 by Cherokee Federal, a prime contractor to the Federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to staff part of the Team Hope program.

Pulse’s responsibility was to provide Cherokee Federal with a large team of 90 Spanish-speaking and licensed mental health clinicians that would work with refugee children to overcome the turmoil they had faced. Due to the nature of the work, each clinician underwent a 10-year federal background check.

Given a two-week timeline for delivery, strict credentialing requirements and an increased demand for mental health clinicians due to the pandemic, Pulse successfully fulfilled the 90 roles to meet Team Hope’s expectations.

Due to the successful implementation and deployment of the mental health clinicians, the psychiatric hospitalization rate decreased from one to two per week, to one to two per month. In addition, Team Hope was able to reunite all 10,000 unaccompanied children with their families.
